Gay marriage is a hot topic in US politics these days. We at TerraAlert.com believe gay marriage should be legal as it’s clearly among the unalienable rights granted in the Declaration of Independence, however we question one thing: Are our priorities out of whack? As a nation we’ve devoted a tremendous amount of time to the issue of gay marriage and neglected the issue of climate change. Will future generations, impacted by the most severe consequences of climate change, wish we had made climate change a top issue in 2012?
